Helicopter Spirals Out of Control into Palm Trees at Frequented California Coast
A helicopter hovering above a popular southern California shoreline abruptly began spiraling out of control, ultimately dropping height and smashing into a row of palm groves as onlookers observed.
Recordings uploaded online capture the aircraft starting to spin over the beach then plunging towards the perimeter of the beach, where it gets stuck among palm trees and a set of stairs close to the shoreline route.
First Aid Update
Emergency responders reported five individuals were taken to hospital involving two individuals who were in the chopper and were “rescued from the debris” following the incident on that day.
Three individuals on the street were injured. Specifics on their injuries were not yet released.
What led to the incident was not yet disclosed.
